📋 Description

• Perform advanced analysis and produce complex data models, insights, and analytics from the Geo-Signals Cloud big data • Support development of Unacast's data products • Use Snowflake to develop efficient data models, optimize query performance, and structure data for analytical and product use cases • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations in Snowflake • Work with large and complex datasets to support analytics and production data products • Support data improvement and data quality efforts • Highlight and communicate data issues observed when producing data and analytics products • Develop and apply algorithms to identify patterns, extract information, uncover insights, and solve complex analytical problems • Work alongside the development team as a key technical contributor on the Complex Algorithm Team • Independently drive projects from problem definition through implementation and delivery • Travel occasionally as required

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security • At least 3 years concentrated on cloud security within AWS environments • Deep understanding of AWS architecture, security services, and best practices for securing cloud applications and data • Experience integrating security into engineering, DevOps, and cloud environments • Solid knowledge of network security, encryption technologies, and secure coding practices • Experience with security frameworks, standards, and best practices • Hands-on experience with incident response, risk assessment, penetration testing, and security audits • Awareness of emerging security threats, trends, and new technologies • Excellent analytical skills for identifying and mitigating complex security vulnerabilities and risks • Excellent communication skills to translate complex security topics for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Experience developing or contributing to acceptable use policies and security guardrails for AI tools, including coding assistants, LLM APIs, and agentic systems • Familiarity with AI-specific risks, including prompt injection, data leakage through model providers, model supply chain concerns, and security implications of agentic tools with action-taking capabilities • Ability to evaluate AI vendors and their data handling practices against compliance requirements • Candidates must reside in the continental United States • Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Certified Security Specialty are preferred
