📋 Description

• Build and scale core parts of mobile and web apps in React Native across the full betting lifecycle • Investigate and resolve critical React Native client issues and create preventive guardrails • Lead design reviews across iOS, Android, and React Native clients • Partner with backend, product, and design on entry placement, confirmation, slip changes and errors, and bet history • Turn ambiguous cross-team goals into concrete plans with milestones and owners • Use product analytics, error dashboards, and session data to validate fixes and detect regressions • Coach engineers on design reasoning and ownership and create reusable patterns • Anticipate and mitigate risks in shared systems before customer or team impact

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent in React Native and a solid grasp of the native iOS/Android layers • Track record of solving cross-cutting or ambiguous problems spanning multiple services, teams, or platforms • Experience leading technical initiatives with measurable before/after impact • Ability to turn unclear, high-level goals into executable plans with milestones and owners • Collaborative, coaching mindset • Strong written and verbal communication • Experience with mobile app performance, testability, and shipping reliable features at scale • Bonus: background in sports, fantasy, or gaming • Bonus: experience with wagering, betting, or high-stakes transactional flows • Bonus: familiarity with Amplitude, Datadog, or similar client-side instrumentation and monitoring tools
