📋 Description

• Navigate clinical trials and educate patients about clinical trial options • Find cancer clinical trial options for patients • Coordinate patients’ initial care at UWCCC for a clinical trial • Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, caregivers, referring providers, clinic staff, UWH Cancer Connect, and clinical trials staff • Maintain knowledge of UWCCC clinical trial operations, procedures, policies, oncology clinics, and related services • Assist in recruitment and screening of clinical study subjects through physical health assessments • Liaise with participants, investigators, research sponsors, and research teams • Deliver study information according to research project standards and protocols • Provide treatment plan direction and information to study participants • Provide expertise, training, and guidance to the community, peers, and/or students

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License required by the start date of the position • Previous experience in oncology nursing required • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required • Previous experience in clinical research preferred • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred • Must pass an initial caregiver check under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years • Must maintain continuous eligibility to work in the United States • University sponsorship is not available, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas • Cover letter and resume required
