• Serve as a liaison between the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, various academic units, and other organizations within the University • Responsible for outreach efforts and recruitment of prospective undergraduate and graduate students • Traveling to and from or within assigned recruiting regions • Visiting high school campuses, community colleges, and other affiliated events • Planning, arranging and implementing a personal recruitment schedule • Providing advisement to students and families regarding educational opportunities and options • Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs, special projects and events, and other initiatives geared to recruiting students • Analyzing trends in student recruitment and retention programs • Giving presentations for parent nights in high schools, community colleges, and other public audiences • Assisting with creating and distributing resource and promotional materials • Reviewing individual applications and evaluating candidates for admission eligibility • Troubleshooting problems with applications • Overseeing and/or coordinating & maintaining communications with applicants • Keeping accurate records of recruiting activities and contacts • Assisting with other student service projects and events as requested • Working to achieve yearly assigned recruiting goals
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university • 1 – 3 years of Related Professional Experience • Related experience, particularly in any customer service or public facing type of position • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
