📋 Description

• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Upstart’s experimentation platform • Balance immediate business needs with a scalable, long-term platform vision supportive of agentic products • Collaborate with Machine Learning, Analytics, and Engineering to build shared experimentation capabilities • Develop approaches for randomized experiments, model deployments, feature flags, and emerging experimentation patterns • Create common abstractions and guardrails to reduce fragmentation and improve experimentation quality • Establish a center of excellence by defining standards and enabling effective experimentation practices • Partner with Growth, Servicing, Capital, and broader stakeholder teams to understand needs, prioritize opportunities, and drive adoption • Guide experimentation technology and vendor partnerships, evaluating external versus internally developed capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) • 7+ years of product management experience • Experience owning strategy and roadmaps for technically complex software, platform, infrastructure, data, or developer-facing products • Experience partnering with engineering, data science, Machine Learning, or Analytics teams on technical product architecture, tradeoffs, and delivery • Experience applying quantitative methods, including statistics, experimentation, analytics, or data science, to product development and decision-making • Experience developing platforms supporting Machine Learning or AI workflows, including deployment, measurement, or experimentation • East/West coast time zone availability • For roles based in Canada, Quebec hiring is not currently available
