📋 Description

• Handle credit dispute functions and use company resources to investigate account information and ensure accurate credit information is reported • Act as a liaison between consumer reporting agencies, E-Oscar, and Upstart to resolve credit bureau issues and assist with customer inquiries • Ensure direct and indirect credit disputes are reported accurately and processed promptly • Research and respond to credit disputes in compliance with FCRA • Maintain service levels and update account status as necessary • Handle indirect disputes through e-Oscar and direct disputes in Salesforce • Understand credit information reported to credit reporting agencies month over month

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years experience working on credit bureau reporting at a Financial Institution • Credit dispute resolution experience with in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the credit reporting agencies • In depth knowledge and experience working with e-Oscar • Familiarity with the Metro2 format and reporting • Strong understanding of key credit reporting laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) (preferred) • 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in credit dispute resolution, handling a wide range of dispute types (preferred) • Experience reviewing complex credit files and transaction histories to identify errors or inconsistencies (preferred) • High School Diploma and/or GED or relevant equivalent experience (preferred) • Ability to work within East/West coast time zones
