📋 Description

• Facilitate and execute Free People's multi-branded footwear vision through pre-production process development and production workflow management • Manage sourcing strategy, brand initiatives, operational calendars, monthly book-to dates, and final allocations • Develop and maintain vendor relationships • Analyze industry trends to identify supply base issues, reduce costs, minimize risk, protect supply continuity, and identify opportunities • Collaborate with product development, design, merchandising, and other stakeholders to create calendars and meet deadlines • Communicate brand and category strategy based on trend meetings • Manage commitments, order placements, product development, and production processes • Calculate and manage rolling and final IMUs for variance analysis • Strategize freight modes, distribution center receipt flow, and margin opportunities • Provide IMU targets and guide teams in negotiating final vendor costing • Assess and develop staff, build effective teams, and maintain accurate records and reports • Coach staff, lead change, and support teams in a rapidly changing business environment • Coordinate teams to deliver aesthetically correct samples aligned with the brand's vision • Facilitate management of pre-production time and action and production work-in-process • Provide training, development, and support for team members and direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Significant leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment • Experience traveling overseas to evaluate vendors and determine areas of improvement • Ability to supervise subordinates to accomplish department goals and deadlines • Ability to promote subordinate development through supervision and training • Proactive problem-solving approach • Ability to implement operational efficiencies • Ability to adapt quickly to changes • Deadline-driven with a high sense of urgency
