The company operates distribution centers and delivery fleets (drivers and warehouse teams), maintains dedicated sales and chef-facing programs (e. g. , CHEF'STORE and Stock Yards), and invests in digital technology and corporate functions to support its B2B customers and operations.

📋 Description

• Provide technical pricing support for local, regional, and national customer concepts • Serve as a subject matter expert in vendor agreements, pricing documentation, incentive documentation, customer master database maintenance, and contract documentation • Make independent decisions on complex requests from internal and external stakeholders • Research and resolve multifaceted second-tier pricing inquiries and audits • Troubleshoot price calculations and perform contract linkages • Analyze pricing methodologies and procedures • Calculate sell prices or apply markups to achieve desired sell prices • Notify Sales or Market Pricing Teams when desired sell prices cannot be achieved • Support team leads with associate training and mentorship • Draft and maintain SOPs, reference documents, and CAMS • Assist with high-profile and cross-functional projects, including acquisitions, market transfers, and revenue management requests • Provide cross-functional support to other Customer Operations pricing teams during peak periods • Maintain contract consistency and the customer master database • Adhere to compliance standards and deliver accurate customer service

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • 1 year of experience in vendor agreements or contract administration • Solid understanding of US Foods pricing rules, concepts, and processes • 2 years of experience utilizing MS Office, including Outlook • Strong Excel skills, including filters on large data sets and pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUM, SUBTOTAL, COUNT, IF, CONCATENATE, and TEXT • Experience with two or more of PeopleSoft, CASIS, PRISM, PRIME, MDM, Tandem, Discoverer, or Invoice Search Retrieval • Strong and proficient computer skills across multiple screens and applications • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail, advanced algebraic, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Business maturity, independent thinking, and ability to work collaboratively • Ability to manage multiple tasks without compromising accuracy • Ability to make advanced independent decisions based on research • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes • Ability to prioritize workload, meet critical deadlines, and work calmly under pressure in a remote or virtual environment • Ability to work extended or outside standard business hours, including holidays, sometimes with short notice • Occasional travel may be required (<5%) • Experience creating or utilizing macros preferred • Experience loading detailed entries into a database system preferred • Experience in process or continuous improvement and identifying waste preferred
