📋 Description

• Investigate, negotiate, evaluate, and appraise vehicle damage claims for repairable and total loss vehicles. • Evaluate and appraise simple and moderately complex auto physical damage claims using digital tools. • Investigate claim damages by communicating with insureds, internal claims adjusters, and third parties/vendors. • Review facts of loss and vehicle damage to identify subrogation opportunities and ensure supporting documentation is included. • Apply knowledge of P&C insurance products, services, contracts, processes, systems, and procedures. • Review claims and suppliers for fraud indicators and refer applicable cases to the Special Investigations Unit. • Maintain accurate and current claim file documentation. • Manage desk workload, conduct timely follow-ups, and accurately map repair plans and timelines. • Review additional damages from repair facilities and complete supplements or triage inspections to field providers. • Provide policyholders with information about coverage, estimates, total loss valuations, and the claims/repair process. • Support workload surges and catastrophe response operations, including mandatory on-call dates and possible evening, weekend, or holiday work. • Potentially travel for catastrophe deployment with minimal notice. • Handle higher-complexity claims and additional duties as assigned. • Identify, measure, monitor, and control business risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. • 1 year of auto appraising experience. • Progressive knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process and claim appraisal process and procedures. • Working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms. • Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts. • Active Texas All-Lines Adjusters License. • I-CAR ProLevel 3 (Platinum) certification or actively pursuing ProLevel 3. • Experience as a Field Auto Appraiser with a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance carrier. • Experience and ability to prepare estimates and evaluations using CCC estimating platform. • Willingness and ability to work in Texas. • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
