📋 Description

• Perform systems analysis and support and guide end-users for company applications and administration systems • Liaise between internal business staff, IT technical teams and vendors to evaluate business needs and drive system solutions • Gather, research, analyze and validate business requirements, objectives and opportunities • Communicate requirements to development teams through specifications, statements of work, project plans and other documentation • Translate business requirements into IT-based solutions • Coordinate development work and system configuration with vendors and IT developers, architects and technical experts • Test system configuration, performance, functionality, processes and user acceptance • Provide end-user support and guidance on application functionality and capabilities • Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to application and systems problems • Escalate and resolve complex issues and deliver system enhancements • Coordinate project activities including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training and go-live support • Maintain project files and provide status updates • Develop user documentation and training materials and facilitate training • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience for Business Systems Analyst II • Bachelor's degree in related field, equivalent work experience or demonstrated competency for Senior Business Systems Analyst • 2–4 years’ programming, systems analysis, or business analysis experience for Business Systems Analyst II • 4–6 years' programming, systems analysis, or business analysis experience for Senior Business Systems Analyst • Strong knowledge of business systems analysis tools, processes, methodologies and standards for requirements information gathering, analysis and documentation • Understanding of application design and system configuration • Understanding of project management methodologies • Basic understanding of SQL for extracting and analyzing data and troubleshooting issues • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong written and verbal communication and meeting facilitation skills • Ability to convey complex and detailed technical information • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently • Ability to develop skills in multiple technical environments and grasp business processes • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal partners and vendors • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable • Preferred: LOMA courses; Master’s degree; process mapping/process documentation; analytical and problem-solving experience; Enterprise application configuration; insurance knowledge; programming or SQL experience
