📋 Description

• Own day-to-day technology delivery execution, operational performance, delivery governance, and escalation management across the technical portfolio • Lead application development, automation, platform development, integration delivery, release management, and application support for clinical business solutions • Translate business strategies, product roadmaps, requirements, and priorities into executable delivery plans, estimates, staffing models, milestones, and measurable outcomes • Partner with enterprise architecture and solution architects to align solutions with architecture, security, data, integration, resiliency, and technology standards • Establish and operate software development lifecycle practices using Agile, DevOps, testing, change control, release, documentation, and quality assurance • Own portfolio scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, quality, financial performance, and stakeholder communication • Lead automation strategy execution, workflow automation, process optimization, reusable capabilities, controls, monitoring, and sustainable support models • Provide interim direct leadership for the platform development team and recruit, onboard, and develop its future manager • Lead application support and service operations, including incidents, problems, requests, changes, releases, root cause analysis, service levels, availability, and continuous improvement • Establish dashboards and operating reviews for delivery, quality, application health, service levels, capacity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance • Manage capacity, workforce, succession, and sourcing plans across employees, contractors, managed services, and vendors • Lead and develop technical managers, leads, engineers, developers, automation specialists, analysts, and support professionals • Manage technology vendors and delivery partners, including performance, statements of work, deliverables, service levels, financials, risks, and corrective actions • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, HIPAA, audit, data governance, business continuity, and regulatory requirements • Provide executive reporting, recommendations, decision support, and escalation of material risks and delivery constraints • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, automation, and reuse to improve delivery speed, quality, reliability, transparency, and business value

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, healthcare administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education • 12+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, software engineering, application development, automation, platform operations, or application support • 7+ years of experience leading managers and multidisciplinary technical teams in an enterprise environment • Demonstrated accountability for a significant application or technology portfolio, including delivery, operations, budgets, vendors, workforce planning, and executive stakeholder relationships • Deep knowledge of application development, automation, integrations, APIs, cloud and hosted platforms, DevOps, testing, release management, observability, and production support • Strong command of portfolio, program, project, financial, resource, vendor, risk, and service management disciplines • Executive presence and excellent verbal, written, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach • Ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams and develop managers and technical leaders • Master’s degree and relevant certifications are preferred • Healthcare technology experience, enterprise transformation, platform modernization, vendor implementations, SAFe Agile leadership, organizational change, and healthcare privacy/security/compliance knowledge are preferred or strongly preferred
