📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive, consumer-first and AI-first analytics strategy for LillyDirect • Set the strategic direction and roadmap for LillyDirect analytics • Oversee dashboard development, KPI tracking, and cross-functional data partnerships with CI&A, Tech@Lilly, and Finance • Define the analytical agenda for LillyDirect product and marketing functions • Build, scale, and lead a world-class business analytics team supporting US and OUS markets • Recruit, train, coach, and retain analytics talent and develop leadership pipelines • Ensure business recommendations and solutions are evidence-based and grounded in analytics • Promote accountability and operational excellence, including timely delivery and maintenance of an operations calendar • Partner with Lilly BI&A to replicate and share best practices • Provide objective data to measure overall LillyDirect business performance and specific business areas • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to LillyDirect leadership • Facilitate data-driven decision-making and influence adoption of analytics recommendations • Champion solutions that improve outcomes and help LillyDirect reach its goals • Own development and delivery of AI tools and analytics products from concept to launch • Ensure analytics product quality and reliability through rigorous testing and validation • Report to the CFO of LillyDirect

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree • 5+ years leading analytics teams • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, statistics, or computer science • Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one modern BI/visualization platform, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred • Analytics or data science leadership experience within an ecommerce, healthcare technology company, digital health platform, or health-tech startup/scale-up preferred • Experience with direct-to-consumer or direct-to-patient business models preferred • Experience spanning both health-tech and pharma environments especially valued • Experience building and leading business analytics teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments • Experience with cloud data warehouses and product/experimentation analytics tools for consumer-facing A/B testing and cohort analysis • Ability to think strategically and work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate analytics concepts clearly and influence senior decisions • Consistent record of using data to drive decision-making • Success leading and delivering complex projects across highly matrixed, multi-functional teams • Broad awareness of advanced analytics areas including design of experiments, artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, optimization, and predictive analytics • Working knowledge of healthcare data privacy and regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA • Experience embedding privacy-by-design and data governance practices into analytics products built on consumer health data • Growth mindset and ability to build scalable systems and processes while adapting to a fast-moving health-tech environment • Must be willing to work PST hours • Travel up to 10%, primarily domestic travel depending on business need
