• Welcome patients and visitors to the office • Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls • Schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system • Conduct follow-up calls when necessary • Provide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information • Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to support patients and teams
• High school diploma; Associates degree preferred • Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or medical office setting • Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology and medical billing • Women's health, OB/GYN, or Fertility experience preferred • Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.) • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment
