📋 Description

• Support increased sales/case penetration and improved profitability in key integrated delivery network and healthcare accounts • Develop new customer relationships and new sales growth • Respond to local and national requests for business/menu solutions • Introduce and implement US Foods programs and solutions-based services • Support Senior Business Solutions Specialist activities at IDN and GPO levels • Provide expertise in cost reduction methodologies and revenue enhancement • Develop operating business plans, report monthly, and analyze sales for targeted accounts • Build and deepen customer relationships at foodservice director and C-suite levels • Use a consulting approach for contract maximization, financial performance, and operational challenges • Assist with customer business reviews and protect at-risk account relationships • Achieve customer savings and engagement goals • Support distribution centers in developing and executing business/menu solutions sales strategies • Assist distribution center personnel in achieving sales and EBITDA goals and pursuing new business • Develop strategies using Business/Menu Solutions tools to grow US Foods sales and maximize customer savings • Document all engagements • Coordinate local and regional IDN Supply Chain Management projects • Manage healthcare executive relationships and implement facility-level financial analysis • Coordinate communications with GPO and external customers and participate in regional and national meetings • Assist in developing future cost-containment, healthcare-trend, and revenue-enhancement services • Train field sales organization and lead customer presentations • Develop annual sales plans with the National Field Manager and Senior Business Solutions Specialist • Manage a targeted sales plan of $30M-$50M and support healthcare business sales plans exceeding $100M

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred • Minimum of five years’ work experience in the foodservice healthcare industry • Contract management, multi-unit-facility and sales experience preferred • Proficient in financial analysis • Ability to utilize strategic thinking and develop action plans to support strategy • Analytical and critical thinking ability • Strong interpersonal, organizational, facilitation and communication skills • Demonstrated previous successful sales or cost management results • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships at all levels and act as a consensus builder within a team selling structure • Ability to sell and influence with no formal authority • Solid presentation skills at the C-suite level • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Word) • Experience with Access • Literacy in software and hardware applications • Ability to travel 50%-75% in distribution centers footprint
