📋 Description

• Answer incoming phone calls and field questions about provider scheduling • Direct calls to appropriate parties and take and distribute messages • Schedule medical appointments by coordinating patients, providers, locations, and payers • Receive and initiate calls to and from patients, providers, and outside provider offices • Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures using electronic health record (EHR) scheduling software • Promptly answer incoming calls professionally and schedule patient appointments • Accurately obtain patient demographics, address, telephone, and insurance information • Manage electronic requests through drop boxes and patient portals • Distribute faxes and help manage needed requests • Role model Just Culture principles and Organizational Values • Maintain HIPAA compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred • Previous medical office experience preferred • Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and OSHA rules and regulations preferred • Must be HIPAA compliant • Ability to live and work primarily in one of the listed states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI
