📋 Description

• Understand Valmet technology, including its technical and commercial strengths and weaknesses, applications, and latest product developments • Manage a team of product experts and set direction and priorities • Serve as lead interface to Engineering and Project Management for sold projects • Ensure adherence to as-sold project contracts • Follow project start-up and interact with customers and internal resources to meet project goals and guarantees • Provide feedback on product development needs to R&D • Work closely with customers to understand business needs and present Valmet technical solutions • Develop proposals covering scope definition, specifications, performance guarantees, cost estimates, and pricing • Collaborate with Technology Managers, Application Engineers, Sales Managers, and other Product Managers to ensure customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with Air and Drying Systems solutions/technology and papermaking processes • 5-7+ years of experience in paper-industry roles such as Product Management, Field Services, Sales, Engineering, Project Management, or Applications (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related science degree in paper or process technology • Experience working with customers and a collaborative mindset • Strong presentation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Willingness to travel extensively to meet and work with customers • Background check required • Pre-employment physical and drug screen required
