📋 Description

• Guide course and curriculum development to ensure quality standards and accreditation compliance • Assist with course mapping, course-level design, and unit-level learning objectives • Use database-driven tools for course development and evaluation activities • Update and maintain course records and data for accurate academic reporting • Apply visual design elements to online course components, documents, and forms • Build interactive and engaging courses in the Learning Management System • Provide instructors with feedback on instructional strategies and teaching and learning resources • Review courses for quality, interactivity, and consistency • Implement the Quality Matters framework • Collaborate with D3 staff on instructional graphics, images, banners, videos, animations, and infographics • Develop courses, e-learning modules, and blended learning experiences using LMS and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Rise • Contribute just-in-time learning content to the online Knowledgebase for course-management-system users • Keep current with instructional design methodologies, technologies, and e-learning practices • Attend continuing education events and seek resources to meet identified learning needs • Collaborate with faculty and the design team to determine instructional strategies, resources, course development and revision, and curricular evaluation • Report administratively and functionally to the Instructional Design Manager; no supervisory responsibility

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required • Proven working experience in instructional design with instructional technology is required • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models is required • Solid knowledge of course development, lesson, and curriculum planning is required • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems is required • Master's degree in Instructional Design or related fields strongly preferred • Previous teaching, training, or instructional design experience, or an instructional design degree, is preferred • Ability to write effective instructional text, audio, and storyboards is strongly preferred
