📋 Description

• Own the integrations roadmap and sequencing, including connected systems, order, depth, and rationale • Own requirements and specification quality for every integration shipped • Manage technical relationships with partner product and engineering teams alongside engineering leads • Define when an integration is complete based on the customer workflow • Develop reusable integration patterns and platform primitives • Translate business context and customer workflows into detailed technical specifications covering data models, sync behavior, authentication, rate limits, and failure handling • Write use-case-based acceptance criteria • Identify edge cases such as conflicting writes, permission changes, schema drift, and failed syncs • Validate assumptions through discovery calls, real data, and sandbox testing • Run structured specification reviews with engineering and remain engaged through build • Make mid-build scope and specification decisions and communicate tradeoffs • Scope joint work and negotiate technical approaches with external partners • Monitor partner roadmaps, deprecation timelines, and reliability • Set product direction and prioritize competing customer, partner, and internal demands • Communicate with executives, engineering, go-to-market, support, and external partners • Define and manage integration success metrics, including activation, sync reliability, time-to-connect, support load, and rework rate • Improve requirements and technical discovery practices across the product team

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in product management, with at least 3 years owning integrations, APIs, platform, or partner-facing products • Demonstrable track record of shipping non-trivial third-party integrations, ideally several, with personal ownership of requirements • Technical depth: ability to read API documentation, test endpoints, reason about data models and sync architecture, and participate in engineering design discussions • Written specification skills; redacted writing sample required during the process • Direct experience negotiating technical approach with external partners or vendors, including changing a partner’s plan • Comfort with ambiguity in discovery and rigor in the commit phase • Strong customer-workflow instinct • Experience integrating with portfolio management or financial planning platforms, advisor CRM systems, or AI meeting/notetaking tools • Background in wealth management or fintech, or a comparable data-sensitive and compliance-constrained domain • Experience building an integration platform or framework • Prior exposure to partner enablement such as SDKs, sandbox environments, certification programs, or public API documentation • Must be based in one of: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
