📋 Description

• Support revenue accounting system enhancements by gathering business requirements, performing user acceptance testing, documenting results, and escalating issues • Create, maintain, and enhance revenue-related reports for monthly close, reconciliations, analysis, and management review • Partner with Product, Sales Operations, Billing, Legal, IT, and Finance teams to identify revenue accounting impacts • Document process updates related to new products, business models, and operational changes • Support month-end and quarter-end close through data validation, reporting, journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls • Maintain process documentation, system workflows, and reporting procedures for consistency, compliance, training, and audit readiness • Escalate complex accounting, systems, or control matters while building revenue accounting expertise

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field • 1-4 years of experience in accounting, revenue accounting, finance operations, or systems/reporting support • Experience ideally within a software, SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business • Strong interest in accounting systems, reporting, process improvement, and automation • Experience creating and maintaining reports for reconciliations, analysis, and management reporting • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Effective communication and collaboration skills with finance and cross-functional stakeholders • NetSuite and Salesforce preferred • CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation is a bonus • Experience with system implementations, enhancements, or testing initiatives is a bonus • Knowledge of revenue accounting concepts and practices is a bonus • Familiarity with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements is a bonus • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or subscription-based technology environment is a bonus • Exposure to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives is a bonus
