📋 Description

• Develop drivers-based financial models providing management teams with business visibility • Use models for annual planning, re-forecasting, scenario analysis, cash management, and investor storytelling • Establish a repeatable, timely model-update process tied to accounting’s month-end close • Own monthly budget-versus-actuals reporting, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations • Partner with the Accounting team to align P&L structure with management reporting preferences • Deliver analyses supporting M&A, fundraising, pricing, unit economics, sales capacity planning, and cohort retention analysis • Advise high-growth technology founders and management teams across a portfolio of innovative companies

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in finance, with a proven track record advising clients and partnering with management teams • Experience in investment banking or a similar advisory environment, combined with operating experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Business Operations at high-growth technology companies • Self-starter with a strong ownership mentality, able to take ambiguous problems, structure them, and drive them through to completion with minimal oversight • Ability to work across detailed analysis and executive-level synthesis, translating complex financial workstreams into decision-ready insights • Prior exposure to board-level communication is a strong plus • Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise, including building scalable, driver-based operating models and translating business drivers into financial outputs • Comfortable leveraging AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT • Strong understanding of US GAAP and technology-business metrics including ARR, MRR, revenue retention, churn, CAC, LTV, and gross margin • Basic familiarity with modern accounting and finance tooling, including QuickBooks, NetSuite, Rillet, Campfire, Ramp, Stripe, Tabs, and financial planning tools
