📋 Description

• Operate assigned client accounts efficiently under the direction of the Director of Client Operations and general instruction of facility contacts • Answer day-to-day questions from clients and Release of Information Specialists • Meet facility revenue goals and identify productivity improvements • Perform release-of-information functions according to service agreements • Prepare weekly dashboards and month-end operational performance reports • Monitor productivity and quality to ensure customer satisfaction • Assist with training and evaluation of onsite and remote ROIS staff • Assist with employee selection, interviewing, hiring, and termination • Participate in counseling sessions and make disciplinary or termination recommendations • Manage onsite staff scheduling, time-off requests, and payroll approval • Assist remote supervisors with work coordination and distribute workflow • Maintain confidentiality of facility information • Provide input on site procedure reviews and revisions • Perform quality reviews and site evaluations • Review release-of-information requests for validity under state and federal statutes • Locate medical record numbers, pull records, review requested encounters, scan or electronically capture records, and prepare requested pages • Reassemble paper charts for refiling and log/document released information • Calculate billing and prepare invoices as needed • Certify medical-record copies when appropriate • Ensure supplies are available at designated facilities • Submit company-related travel expense reports and receipts • Comply with Company Policies and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • Some college preferred • RHIT Certification preferred • Valid driver’s license and a history of safe driving • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff members and management • Experience with medical records or healthcare beneficial • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy information standards required • Medical terminology coursework preferred • RHIT certification or ability to take and pass an ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher within 90 days required • Ability to travel
