📋 Description

• Support the Director of Operations in keeping workflows, resources, and projects on track • Track and report operational KPIs, flag performance gaps, and help implement corrective actions • Help manage operational budgets, systems, and vendors • Identify, design, and implement practical AI opportunities • Support rollout and adoption of AI and automation tools through guides, training, and hands-on support • Identify and prioritize AI use cases tied to measurable outcomes • Deliver quick wins and establish repeatable processes for monitoring and improving AI solutions • Ensure AI tools and agents use accurate, current, and appropriate information • Maintain stakeholder communication so AI agents and workflows align with changing data and processes • Map and improve operational processes and identify automation opportunities • Support R&D and Engineering AI initiatives, reporting, and data quality • Document processes, tools, and standard operating procedures • Manage and monitor system integrations and coordinate AI agent requests • Develop and maintain R&D and Engineering metrics and reporting • Analyze development and work-management data for delivery, capacity, workflow health, and trends • Audit business and operational data for accuracy and resolve variances • Prepare monthly and quarterly analytics for the Director and senior leadership • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Coordinate with the Director of Operations and other Operations Managers • Provide documentation, support, and training for internal users • Maintain responsible-use, data privacy, quality, security, and compliance controls • Identify and escalate operational risks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Analytics, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 3+ years of experience in business operations, R&D or engineering operations, analytics, business systems, program management, AI enablement, or a related field • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools to create or improve business workflows, reporting, analysis, or internal processes • Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams and translating operational needs into practical solutions • Experience working with operational data and using it to produce meaningful reporting, recommendations, or process improvements • Experience partnering with Engineering and R&D stakeholders • Experience developing and maintaining R&D metrics and reporting • Experience analyzing operational and development data • Comfortable using SQL, spreadsheets, reporting platforms, or BI tools • Experience building, configuring, training, testing, and refining AI agents or AI-assisted workflows • Strong working knowledge of Claude • Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, usefulness, consistency, and source-context appropriateness • Experience with prompt design, context management, source-data refinement, testing, and feedback • Understanding of hallucination risk and approaches to improve AI output reliability • Experience designing AI workflows with human review or approval • Experience working with software engineering, product, technical, or R&D teams • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong stakeholder-management skills • Familiarity with systems, tools, and business processes • Occasional early or late calls to overlap with New Zealand colleagues
