📋 Description

• Create testing and automation plans, estimates, and project plans for software QA • Work with product owners to plan and create test cases and scenarios • Guide, coach, and mentor junior QA engineers • Collaborate with product owners, DevOps, and software engineers to create a continuous delivery process • Work with engineers, testers, and product management to influence product development and improve products • Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks and strategies for web applications, APIs, and data pipelines • Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Selenium, Pytest, and similar tools • Develop automated tests for REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures • Create performance and load testing solutions to validate system scalability • Implement automated security and compliance testing for PHI data handling • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps • Drive continuous improvement in test coverage and effectiveness • Conduct code reviews for test automation code • Establish testing standards, patterns, and best practices • Lead initiatives to improve test infrastructure and tooling • Drive automation coverage metrics and reporting • Promote and live by Verisma’s Core Values

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science and Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience, required • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in software testing and QA • Demonstrated success building and launching excellent products • Competency in Scrum or other agile and iterative processes • Competency in Selenium, C#, Azure, API testing, and performance testing • Proven analytical skills to solve complex problems by manipulating and utilizing business data • Able to deliver effective documentation • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, high-intensity, deadline-oriented work environment • Exceptional oral and written communication skills required to document and communicate with internal and external resources • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail required to ensure accuracy and effective execution of projects and tasks • Ability to work independently as a self-starter while possessing excellent teamwork skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments
