📋 Description

• Partner with the Director of Supply Chain on weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory planning and domestic gap-fill purchasing. • Translate demand forecasts, open-to-buy, and project pipelines into domestic purchase plans. • Track bulk domestic purchase orders and ETAs, flag delays, and report on inventory gaps, buys, and risks. • Build and expand a wholesale, closeout, and liquidation vendor network. • Assess liquidation offerings, vet vendors, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain a categorized vendor database. • Own procurement and purchase-order lifecycle for standing domestic items such as mattresses, bedding, and pillow inserts. • Set reorder points and par levels by warehouse and coordinate receiving and stock visibility. • Source soft goods and decorative accessories and establish predictable receiving cadences by market. • Collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain, Creative Directors, merchandising, design, operations, and additional business-line leaders. • Review vendor proposals and product samples against quality, design, and value standards. • Centralize domestic procurement activities across interior design and direct furniture/enterprise sales. • Deliver near-zero stockouts, qualified vendor coverage, reliable receiving, cost savings, margin protection, and proactive risk communication.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. • 5–7 years of buying, merchandising, or procurement experience; furniture, home goods, or textiles industry experience strongly preferred. • Demonstrated experience sourcing through wholesale, closeout, or liquidation channels. • Track record managing vendor relationships end-to-end: sourcing, negotiation, purchase orders, and performance management. • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; comfort working with inventory planning, OTB, and purchase order systems. • Experience supporting multiple warehouses or markets simultaneously is a strong plus. • Excellent negotiation, organization, and relationship-management skills. • Ability to move quickly and decisively on time-sensitive, gap-fill purchasing opportunities. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
