📋 Description

• Lead multiple projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders • Develop project plans including resource allocation, risk management, and budget tracking • Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering tasks • Manage subcontractors and suppliers supporting product development • Monitor project progress and adjust plans to changing requirements • Serve as primary customer interface for assigned projects • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues • Ensure quality standards throughout the project lifecycle • Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented, high-performance team environment • Build strong internal and external working relationships • Support business development, capture management, proposal writing, solution development, marketing, pricing, cashflow modeling, and supply chain development • Develop technical volumes, management plans, schedules, and basis-of-estimate inputs • Help create, maintain, and evolve the product roadmap • Travel to partner and customer sites for onsite support and collaboration • Report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and work with the Product and Services team as the primary interface among engineering resources, subcontractors, customers, and senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline) • 8+ years of engineering and/or defense industry experience • 3+ years leading technical development projects • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) • Experience managing engineering teams through product development lifecycles • Extensive experience building and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules • Experience with proposal costing and project budget execution • Experience managing subcontractors or suppliers • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure • Hands-on technical credibility • Ability to operate independently with limited oversight • Ability to lead people with varying technical abilities across a wide geographic distribution • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • U.S. citizenship required • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time within the US and abroad • Ability to transfer, obtain, and maintain a U.S. government security clearance required • Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification • Preferred: Experience with Army training and simulation programs • Preferred: Experience with laser systems, RF systems, embedded electronics, or military communications
