📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations and staffing for assigned teams • Adjust staff schedules and address workflow gaps • Assist with recruiting, hiring, evaluating, and retaining personnel • Address personnel issues and establish performance and behavior expectations • Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development • Coordinate training, competency assessments, and quality review activities • Respond to client inquiries and triage requests • Monitor patient access, productivity, satisfaction, and workflow efficiency KPIs • Implement corrective actions as needed • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and organizational policies • Review medication authorizations and determine appropriate actions • Conduct benefits investigations and assess coverage and out-of-pocket costs • Identify financial assistance options • Collaborate with clinics to obtain documentation, submit prior authorizations, and support coverage-denial appeals • Communicate authorization determinations, financial assistance options, and pharmacy access pathways to patients • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in client EMR systems and Visante tracking platforms • Support client onboarding, training, workflow optimization, and continuous process improvement • Collaborate with Visante leadership, clients, clinical staff, and interdepartmental teams • Complete other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Associate Degree preferred • 3 years of experience working within healthcare or with pharmacy providers on medication access • State Board of Pharmacy Technician registration obtained within 6 months of hire • Minimum of 1 year experience supervising or managing a team preferred • Experience with staff scheduling, performance management, and professional development preferred • Active CPhT certification through either PTCB or NHA preferred • Good judgment, multitasking, prioritization, and deadline management • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate strong client relationships • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills • Clear and concise communication • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality • Extensive knowledge of medication reimbursement and healthcare prior authorization/coding • Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent conflict resolution skills • Strong leadership skills • High attention to detail
