📋 Description

• Ensure high standards of aircraft availability and reliability • Work closely with assigned flight crew to address and communicate issues in a timely manner • Liaise with Base and Line Maintenance Planners for long- and short-range maintenance forecasting • Optimize aircraft downtime scheduling while ensuring required maintenance is performed timely • Coordinate with MCC Controllers, Planners, and maintenance service providers to minimize aircraft downtime • Perform or oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for safe, timely return to service • Review scheduled maintenance events with the Planning Team against approved maintenance program requirements • Resolve unscheduled maintenance events and schedule line maintenance, including MEL item rectification • Keep aircraft maintenance tracking software accurate and up to date • Review work packages for completeness and efficient use of downtime • Ensure timely compliance with fleet campaigns, Airworthiness Directives, and mandatory Service Bulletins • Review supplier proposals to RFQs and provide recommendations to the Director of Managed Aircraft • Collaborate with Technical Services on maintenance program effectiveness and reliability • Develop efficient and effective processes with the Director of Managed Aircraft • Coach and mentor less-experienced Crew Chiefs and supporting team members

🎯 Requirements

• Holder of an FAA A&P certificate with minimum 5 years’ experience • Minimum 3 years of leading maintenance teams • Proven experience in maintaining complex turbine power aircraft • Effective communicator within their team, the operation and other business units • Demonstrates the ability to work cross-functionally to develop the best solutions • Demonstrated skills in performing effective troubleshooting techniques and efficient maintenance processes • Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance and aircraft maintenance planning • Capable of successfully delivering results and managing deadlines in a demanding environment • Preferred: Holder of an FAA A&P certificate with AI approval, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience • Preferred: Has successfully complete aircraft type training for assigned aircraft type • Preferred: 5+ years of leading maintenance teams • All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
