📋 Description

• Partner with Finance and Revenue Cycle Management stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into reporting, dashboards, data models, and analytical solutions • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain dashboards and visualizations supporting Finance and RCM performance reporting • Serve as a subject matter expert for Tableau and Finance/RCM business intelligence reporting, dashboard design, visualization, and reporting best practices • Interpret and evaluate user requests to design business intelligence solutions for Finance • Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy code for complex business intelligence, visualization, analytic, and database technology projects; troubleshoot and resolve errors • Develop SQL or Python code within the enterprise data warehouse to support Finance workbooks • Develop standard or custom reports, queries, and dashboards using information from multiple data sources • Lead complex data mining and deep analysis of data sets to provide recommendations and solutions • Serve as a subject matter expert for Finance best practices and content delivery via dashboards, visualizations, and reporting systems • Collaborate with BI data engineers to integrate financial data into the data warehouse and analytical applications • Work with BI tool administrators or administer Finance BI tools, ensuring regular patching and upgrades • Administer Tableau, including monthly processes distributing Practice Financial Reports to Medical Directors • Guide and recommend improvements to reporting-system processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or related field of study required • 2+ years of experience in a health care setting required • 7+ years of experience with BI solutions required; Tableau preferred, Power BI or MicroStrategy • 7+ years of experience writing SQL queries and performance tuning of BI queries required • 5+ years of experience in data architecture and design required • 2+ years of experience in BI development working with Snowflake data warehouse required • Experience with healthcare nomenclature and physician RCM data and KPIs preferred • Experience presenting technical solutions to business and technical audiences preferred • Proficient with agile development methodologies preferred • Familiarity with statistical and predictive analytics tools such as Stata, R, SAS, and SPSS preferred • Experience with ETL tools and programming/scripting languages such as SSIS, Python, and Ruby preferred • Experience working with AI tools, including Claude in building, training, and managing AI agents preferred • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required • Detail oriented, organized, and flexible; able to perform multiple tasks with varying priorities under conditions requiring speed and accuracy • Ability to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project • Ability to understand a business process and translate it into a data model • Ability to analyze ambiguous technical and customer situations and determine appropriate solutions
