📋 Description

• Represent the company in depositions and arbitrations • Act as a bridge between legal teams and claims operations • Manage complex and non-complex disability and leave claims accurately and promptly • Provide mentorship and guidance to claims staff • Serve as a subject matter expert on leave policies and procedures • Analyze claim data to identify trends and provide actionable insights • Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) • Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental special projects • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders by phone and email • Build and maintain relationships supporting client satisfaction and operational goals • Proactively develop action plans to improve process gaps

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED • 5 years of experience in claim management (STD, FMLA, PPL, PFL) • 2 years of experience with Client Escalation – Resolution strategies • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights based on client needs • Strong decision making and critical thinking skills • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook • Strong written and oral communication capabilities • Proven critical thinking and problem solving • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
