• Develop and execute near- and long-term growth strategies and campaigns aligned with Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plan objectives • Meet or exceed Annual Operating Plan bookings • Maintain detailed understanding of customer missions, requirements, and gaps • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners • Track emerging markets and trends • Propose and develop solutions, including new offerings and strategic partnerships, addressing competition, pricing, and demand • Empower lines of business and collaborate with technology development, product development, finance, marketing, and other Voyager stakeholders • Foster an entrepreneurial growth culture across the company and work functions • Engage customers and vendors to understand and shape pre-solicitation efforts • Fulfill requests for information, requests for proposals, and other partner and customer requests • Support and improve the Capture, Bid, and Proposal Process • Manage within the Bid and Proposal budget • Maintain mission-enablement-focused pipeline generation and reporting • Report to the Executive Vice President Growth-Business Development • Position Voyager as a key enabler of U.S. Space Force, Department of War-wide network, intelligence, and weapon system solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or management fields • Master’s degree in business administration or engineering preferred • 15+ years’ experience building capabilities, supporting, and/or executing mission enablement efforts or operations • 10+ years’ experience working with, supporting, and/or executing business development with the U.S. Government and/or Prime Contractors • Experience executing corporate-level business development activities, including briefing executive leadership • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to communicate with prospective customers and clients, partners, vendors, and the press • Must have a current Top Secret DoD Secret Clearance • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to meet business objectives • Must be a U.S. Person: a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) • Must be eligible to obtain any required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce
