📋 Description

• Lead collaborations with business teams to determine data needs and opportunities • Lead engagements with business leaders and staff to define business requirements for strategic data use • Perform data exploration, analysis, and statistical inference to identify trends, patterns, influences, opportunities, and risks • Develop forecasts, regression models, what-if scenarios, and recommendations for planning and operational decision-making • Lead creation and automation of dashboards, visualizations, and reports for business performance monitoring • Communicate insights to business leaders and colleagues through visualizations, dashboards, and presentations • Collaborate with enterprise analytics and information management teams on data models, views, and data access • Produce business-specific workflows and data models using enterprise analytics and data management tools • Integrate approved external datasets • Develop prototype models joining large volumes of data across multiple data domains • Identify machine learning opportunities and collaborate with Data Scientists • Contribute to data inventory, metadata management, data profiling, data quality remediation, and data cleansing • Maintain compliance with enterprise policies and guidelines for data security, privacy, data management, data quality, and data governance • Mentor others in analytics and statistical techniques

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or related functional area; or equivalent experience • 6+ years of demonstrated data analytics experience, including querying and analyzing operational and/or financial data • Prior experience leading analytics projects in specified business domains, including Healthcare Management • Proficient in building complex SQL data queries • Proficient in designing data workflows and business-oriented data models against relational database structures • Proficient in visualization and dashboard design techniques • Proficient with data exploration and analysis platforms such as PowerBI, Cognos Analytics, Tableau, SAS, or similar • Experience applying statistical modeling to complex business problems and developing forecasting and what-if scenarios • Strategic skills, business acumen, curiosity, and ability to document requirements and collaborate for successful outcomes • Ability to mentor others • Familiarity with Data Science techniques and notebooks such as Jupyter • Programming experience with Python and R • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and analytical skills • For remote or hybrid roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings • Preferred: ability to identify trends, determine root causes, evaluate performance variation, and develop quality insights from large, complex, fragmented datasets • Preferred: healthcare quality and operational analytics knowledge • Preferred: data storytelling and executive communication skills • Preferred: data governance expertise, including data validation, metric definition, reporting standards, and regulatory considerations
