📋 Description

• Conduct research and analyses to support plans for strategic and transformational initiatives • Assist in developing business strategies supporting the CEO and Executive Team to improve company profit, enterprise value, and competitive position • Support development of enterprise, pillar, and line of business strategies • Support and drive longer-term strategic and business plans • Participate in the annual operational planning process • Ensure adherence to Board delivery timelines • Coordinate and prepare content for Board of Directors and Committee meetings as necessary • Develop insights on the vision care, insurance, materials, healthcare, retail, technology, and adjacent industries and trends globally • Continually define strategy to ensure it remains fit for purpose • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and define high-impact strategic initiatives • Develop creative and pragmatic solutions • Work with the internal data and analytics team • Develop and maintain qualitative and quantitative metrics measuring progress against enterprise strategic goals and related initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, marketing, statistics, or related field • Eight years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, corporate development, strategy or management consulting, research, data analytics, market analysis, or competitive intelligence • Working knowledge and experience in the vision, healthcare or insurance industry • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on simplicity of messaging • Highly proficient in Power Point • Ability to use logic and think through future implications • Proven ability and willingness to work through details and execute • Personal and professional integrity with the ability to preserve confidentiality • Desire to dig in to all areas of the business to help identify opportunities and outline solutions, metrics, etc. to move the business forward • Possess energy and enthusiasm for new ideas • For remote or hybrid roles, must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, build trust, and drive accountability and outcomes without direct authority • Experienced in partnering with executives, synthesizing complex information, and communicating with clarity and confidence • Must comply with VSP Vision Information Security and Privacy Policies when accessing sensitive personal information • Pre-employment substance abuse testing required
