📋 Description

• Build the reporting infrastructure that Finance and Analytics actually trust (revenue dashboards, margin analysis, accrual reporting, audit trails) • Design and implement ETL/data pipeline integrations between administer and Vultr's data warehouse, analytics tools, and any external ERP systems • Create the API surface and event contracts that let downstream systems consume administer data reliably • Build reconciliation tooling so Finance can verify data integrity without filing JIRA tickets • Work with the domain engineer to ensure reporting needs shape the data model, not the other way around • Implement data quality monitoring and alerting for critical financial data pipelines • Own the schema and contract versioning strategy for administer's integration APIs • Optimize query performance for financial reporting workloads across large datasets

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend or data engineering, with experience in reporting systems, data pipelines, or ETL • Has built reporting that Finance actually used, not just dashboards nobody trusts • Experience with data warehouse architectures (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent) • Strong API design skills, you think in contracts, not just endpoints • Comfortable across the stack: PHP for administer integration, Python/SQL for pipelines, whatever it takes for the reporting layer • Experience with event-driven architectures and message queue systems
