📋 Description

• Create or modify pre/post-construction drawings using existing drawing files and/or sketches provided by others • Consult designers and project managers to discuss and interpret design plans and determine requirements for detailed working drawings • Draft detail and assembly drawings for construction, including wiring schematics (line drawings) • Create indexing, legends, sheet sets, and/or bill of materials for designs • Stay up to date on industry and engineering standards • Maintain Wachter’s standards of quality and professionalism regarding workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior, and appearance • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor • Adhere to required project safety requirements set forth by the Company and OSHA

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of CAD drafting experience • High school graduate or equivalent • Demonstrated ability to create, edit, and maintain drawings • Basic reading, writing, and math skills • Ability to read construction drawings • Proficient use of computers, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs • Excellent customer relationship and verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Ability to prioritize tasks
