• Manage the Supported Living/In-Home program serving adults with intellectual disabilities • Support skill-building and routine, general, and safety supports that promote self-direction, socialization, and adaptive skills • Optimize individuals’ initiative, autonomy, and self-awareness at home and in the community • Manage supports that enable individuals to maintain independence in their own homes with access to 24-hour support • Provide or oversee specialized supervision, interventions, activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and general supports • Develop and generalize skills that promote self-direction and social connections • Develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional staff, individuals receiving services, and their families • Connect people to meaningful community activities • Travel as needed within a regional area
• Clinical background with working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports • Ability to develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional staff, individuals receiving services, and their families • Background connecting people to meaningful community activities • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required • At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD) preferred • Two years' experience supervising employees preferred • Home office and internet access required • Active driver's license with a good driving record • Excellent references • Criminal background check with acceptable results • Mandated reporter of abuse and neglect for individuals with disabilities
