📋 Description

• Provide strategic oversight for direct marketing fundraising programs for a portfolio of nonprofit clients • Serve as client relationship manager and collaborate with the team to deliver fundraising programs • Draft client annual plans and expenses with Account Lead support • Ensure client reporting is accurate and up to date • Interpret and present program and project results • Work with list brokers and modeling vendors to develop list plans • Oversee client annual expenses • Oversee production management and creative processes • Prepare, draft, and assist with presenting strategy decks • Oversee execution of year-long direct marketing schedules • Direct and guide copywriters and designers • Manage account and production team service delivery, problem-solving, and accountability for errors • Coordinate multi-channel campaigns and wrap-up decks • Learn clients’ missions, programs, and institutional voice to identify fundraising topics and projects • Serve as liaison with client contacts and ensure day-to-day service satisfaction • Identify opportunities to expand client work and scope • Mentor managers, coordinators, assistants, and other team members • Assist with new business proposals and presentations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy, or direct marketing including telemarketing, online and/or grassroots organizing • Proficiency working on multiple projects simultaneously • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Demonstrated effective use of digital tools for internal and external workflow and communication, including email, chat, Zoom, and online workflow tools • Production knowledge • Experience with nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy • Strong communication, writing/editing, attention to detail, leadership, accountability, collaboration, relationship-building, adaptability, project management, critical thinking, and strategic decision-making skills • Ability to communicate agency products, services, mission, vision, and values • Ability to function in a high-paced environment across multiple priorities, projects, clients, and issue areas • Interest in progressive issues and social justice, anti-racism, and anti-oppression • Willingness to travel
