📋 Description

• Manage fee rejections from identification through resolution, including research, follow-up, collection tracking, and documentation of outcomes • Process advisory fee refunds accurately and timely, including validation of supporting information and coordination with internal partners • Complete reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and support resolution of outstanding reconciling items • Prepare and complete accounts receivable uploads, verifying data for completeness and accuracy • Support referral billing submissions and miscellaneous billing functions, including issue resolution and recurring operational activities • Provide cross-coverage for one-off fee submissions across custodians and follow billing controls and documentation requirements • Serve as a team resource and subject matter expert for billing processes, questions, and issue resolution • Support dashboards and reporting through data validation, exception follow-up, and recurring operational reporting • Maintain business continuity and operational coverage through cross-training, procedure maintenance, and backup support • Complete other projects and activities as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred • Five years of financial services experience required, preferably in an RIA or broker-dealer environment • Experience with portfolio accounting or management systems, preferably Orion, and CRM systems such as Salesforce • Orion billing experience preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Advanced Excel skills required • Securities and/or insurance licenses a plus • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills • Ability to adapt to changing processes and procedures while incorporating new requirements into standard workflows • Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI tools and technologies in daily work tasks • Understanding how to craft effective prompts, evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness, and integrate AI tools to enhance productivity while maintaining quality standards • Comfort with learning new AI applications and understanding their appropriate use cases and limitations • Continued learning and adaptation to new AI tools and methodologies expected as AI technology evolves • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, file documents in high or low cabinets, use the telephone, and use computer systems
