📋 Description

• Design and implement advanced synchronization and networking systems for reliable AI operations across edge devices and cloud-isolated government systems • Architect data synchronization frameworks using content-addressable storage, Merkle trees, and CRDTs • Lead performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of distributed software under resource-constrained and intermittently connected conditions • Apply security-first design through threat modeling, secure key management, and cryptographic primitives and protocols • Collaborate with MLOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deploy and integrate AI components in restricted or air-gapped systems • Contribute to cross-functional architectural design discussions and documentation for internal and external stakeholders • Maintain testing, observability, and validation practices for system reliability and compliance readiness • Work with distributed systems concepts including distributed hash tables, content identifiers, gossip protocols, DAGs, overlay networks, and NAT traversal • Travel 25-50% to office locations and government field and test sites

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience, depending on leveling, with backend systems languages such as C++, C, Go, or Rust • Experience with peer-to-peer or decentralized networking frameworks • Active U.S. Security Clearance • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Development will be done in Rust; candidates without Rust experience can get up to speed while working with the systems • Ability to travel 25-50% to webAI office locations and government field and test sites across the country
