📋 Description

• Lead category and operational management for assigned commodities • Improve total cost, quality, delivery, and reliability to reach organizational goals • Serve as the primary contact for suppliers within assigned commodities • Own supplier relationships within assigned commodities • Manage segmentation of assigned spend into sub commodity groups • Develop commodity strategies to improve Total Cost of Ownership and secure supply continuity • Identify and mitigate current and potential risks and opportunities • Lead execution of commodity strategies through the preferred supplier list • Analyze Power BI and other tool outputs to identify commodity spend and cost drivers • Conduct regular supplier relationship management reviews with strategic suppliers, teams, and senior leadership • Create presentations for supplier reviews, commodity playbooks, risk mitigation proposals, 4-Blockers, and supplier/commodity gap analyses • Create plans to deliver annual results against procurement metrics • Research, track, and communicate industry trends, best practices, applicable indices, and competitive offerings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • 7+ years of procurement experience • 5+ years of experience in negotiations, including RFI, RFP, RFQ, and contract development • Experience with vendor management, including purchase order issuance, execution, and administration • Experience with a project ERP system such as SAP or Ariba, or similar system in a global company • Experience in industries with EPC projects preferred
