📋 Description

• Manage assigned substation projects from conception through construction and commissioning. • Support engineering requirements and scope development with the Development Group during the conceptual phase. • Report to the onsite Manager. • Provide training, due diligence, and technical oversight of external engineers of record. • Ensure compliance with generation interconnection agreements, scope of work documents, project specifications, site-specific design requirements, IEEE, NESC, and ASCE standards. • Secure engineering consulting resources by developing scopes of work, securing bids, evaluating proposals, and awarding work through the Integrated Supply Chain Group. • Coordinate substation site development, engineering updates, data, and permits. • Represent internal and external project interests through progress and risk-mitigation presentations and management meetings. • Support review of interconnection documentation, including system impact, facility, reactive, and harmonic studies and interconnection agreements. • Ensure Transmission Owner requirements, E&C engineering design, and ISO requirements are incorporated into project design.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred. • 5+ years experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage substation projects. • Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience. • PMP and/or P.E. in related discipline is helpful. • Some travel required within North America. • Applicants must meet applicable United States and comparable country export control requirements.
