đź“‹ Description

• Provide full district leadership on temporary or interim assignments covering vacancies, leaves of absence, and leadership transitions • Execute the vision of the Regional Director of Operations in assigned districts • Assess stores, teams, KPIs, and market conditions and create prioritized action plans • Maintain or improve revenue, occupancy, and profitability against company KPIs • Stabilize and support underperforming districts and stores • Support onboarding and lease-up of acquired, converted, and newly opened facilities • Provide transition reports covering store status, team assessments, KPI trends, and open action items • Identify high-potential managers and recommend them for development and advancement • Develop and execute district strategies for revenue, occupancy, profitability, growth, and efficiency • Foster collaboration and communication across teams and departments • Manage unusual events, special projects, facility conversions, and openings • Review store environments and business indicators, identify issues and opportunities, and coach store employees • Visit competitor properties • Oversee financial performance and monitor KPIs • Implement corrective actions to meet financial and operational objectives • Monitor rental rates, discounts, Tenant Protection Plan, customer feedback, and service issues • Monitor controllable expenses to maximize return on investment • Analyze financial reports and district performance trends • Conduct monthly site audits and inspections • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Coach store managers on repairs and maintenance and ensure use of the company maintenance program • Supervise employees, interview and hire site managers, and provide ongoing training • Evaluate employee performance, enforce policies, and schedule employee work hours • Support recruitment, retention, and development of store management teams • Develop store management teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required • Equivalent of 3-5 years of work-related experience and/or training in retail sales, retail, customer service, sales management, and/or multi-unit management • Prior district-level or multi-unit leadership experience strongly preferred • Exceptional leadership skills and experience supervising others • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required • Weekend availability may occasionally be required • Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time and accept assignments in different districts on short notice • Temporary relocation or extended stays away from home may be required • Eagerness and work ethic to succeed in a customer service environment • General office and telephone skills • Basic computer skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Good organizational skills • Ability to work independently and meet goals • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure in a multi-location supervisory role • Ability to collaborate as a team player • Ability to build credibility and rapport with new teams and adapt leadership style across districts and markets • Comfort with change, ambiguity, and shifting priorities • Ability and willingness to work remotely as necessary • Must maintain a valid state driver's license if driving for Company business • Ability to perform essential physical functions, including lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds • Must pass a post-offer, pre-hire background screening including a multi-state criminal check and DMV records
