📋 Description

• Prepare and analyze income statements for the Over the Road and Factoring businesses • Support monthly, quarterly and annual forecast and budget processes • Collaborate with the finance organization, general manager, and Director of Finance • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting • Respond to internal requests for financial information • Partner with Corporate Accounting to analyze monthly results and support an accurate, timely close • Improve reporting processes through automation or process changes • Direct preparation of budgets, reviews, and budget proposals • Prepare budget presentations for Senior Management and the Board of Directors • Coordinate and produce monthly financial forecast and analysis reports • Support quarterly earnings communications to the Board of Directors and investment community • Influence finance decision-making and identify finance priorities • Identify financial risks and opportunities • Monitor global economic trends affecting the company • Support M&A due diligence and integration of acquisitions • Partner with accounting, treasury, and tax teams • Support sales team deal modeling • Contribute financial expertise to merger and acquisition project teams • Prepare periodic reports and analyses for management • Present recommendations on internal issues and alternatives to management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related • 5-8+ years financial analysis experience • Advanced skills within Microsoft products • Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables, V-Look-ups and formulas • Access skills • Experience with GSuite preferred • MBA and/or CPA preferred • Must be within a commutable distance to Portland, ME, Boston, MA, New York City, NY, Washington D.C., or Chicago, IL
