📋 Description

• Own White Circle's developer relations and how engineers and AI researchers discover, understand, and adopt its products • Lead technical launches for open-source releases and developer tools such as the Halo framework • Develop launch narratives and demos through launch day • Write and publish blog posts, tutorials, walkthroughs, demos, and threads on X and LinkedIn • Organise and run hackathons, meetups, and technical events, mainly in San Francisco and New York • Build and grow a technical community around White Circle's open-source work and platform • Establish and manage technical partnerships and collaborations with AI labs, developer-tools companies, and research teams • Provide technical input for promotional and product videos in collaboration with design and creative teams • Track signups, repository stars, views, event turnout, and hiring pipeline, then optimize based on results

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technical background as a software engineer, ML engineer, or researcher • Experience at a technical product company, ideally in dev tools, infrastructure, databases, or AI • Experience organising hackathons, meetups, or technical events, with demonstrable outcomes such as turnout, signups, and resulting projects • An engaged following among engineers and/or AI researchers on X, LinkedIn, GitHub, or elsewhere • Strong knowledge of the AI tooling landscape, including coding agents, eval frameworks, open-source models, and relevant builders • Ability to make complex technical topics compelling for developers without dumbing them down • Ability to take ownership and move fast without waiting for direction • Based in the US or able to work US hours; SF or New York ideal, exceptional candidates anywhere considered • Fluent in English • A big plus: experience leading developer marketing or DevRel for an adoption-driving technical launch • A big plus: contributions to or maintenance of popular open-source projects • A big plus: existing relationships across the AI research and developer community • A big plus: experience with AI safety, evals, or reliability
