📋 Description

• Lead and build Wing’s operational engine for scalable drone delivery • Develop the launch team for new US and global markets and ensure existing markets meet operational and strategic OKRs and aviation protocols • Collaborate with Partnerships, Commercial Real Estate, BizOps, and Regulatory teams on deployment, permitting, setup, and operationalization of drone delivery and retail sites • Monitor site-level unit economics, including cost-per-delivery, labor efficiency, and fleet availability • Partner with Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Partnerships teams to operationalize aircraft hardware, software features, and merchant integrations • Build, lead, and scale an operations workforce comprising employees, contractors, and vendors • Champion AI-driven tools and automated workforce scheduling for labor allocation, fleet maintenance forecasting, and ground diagnostics • Maintain compliance with aviation regulations, EHS policies, and local site safety protocols

🎯 Requirements

• 25+ years of progressive operational leadership experience managing hyper-growth physical operations, complex multi-site networks, and last-mile logistics networks • Strong commercial orientation and deep understanding of operational P&L management, unit economics, labor scheduling optimization, and cost-per-delivery levers • Proven experience scaling distributed field operations using contractor, vendor, 3PL, and FTE workforces • Experience integrating advanced technology, AI tools, or algorithmic automation into daily operational workflows • High-level problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Experience balancing safety and compliance frameworks with aggressive growth timelines • Capability to partner across technology, product engineering, regulatory affairs, and enterprise partnerships teams • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or equivalent practical experience
