📋 Description

• Partner with consultants in the development, execution, and completion of search assignments • Provide informational support for new business development • Advise Search teams through research supporting successful search outcomes and placements • Evaluate work history and education of potential candidates to determine fitness • Determine candidates to include in search records • Develop candidate identification strategies • Review and analyze research data • Locate and assess potential candidates • Retrieve and analyze relevant prior searches • Use library and external resources to gather candidate, source, and industry information • Manage research projects associated with search assignments and business development • Monitor work efforts, create project artifacts, implement communication plans, manage issues and risks, and report progress • Identify target organizations and candidates using internal and external resources • Analyze organization and candidate profiles to prioritize targets • Act as a power user of the WittKieffer database • Research individuals, organizations, and industry issues for business development and thought leadership • Gather compensation data for job titles • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor trade publications for new business leads • Add and update records in the WittKieffer database • Coordinate search letters and advertisements with Research Operations colleagues • Partner with Associates and Senior Associates to support client outcomes • Develop and communicate research strategies for each search • Assist other Research Analysts with overflow • Participate in research staff meetings and share resources and search strategies • Initiate strategy start-up meetings with search teams • Collaborate with business partners to complete search assignments • Review trade publications and update consultants on industry topics and changes • Suggest improvements to Research Strategy processes • Document research strategies and resources using department templates • Build and document networks of information sources • Contribute to the knowledge management repository and develop research tools • Participate in Research Strategy process improvement efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required • Advanced degree preferred • 1 to 3 years' experience in executive search or similar professional services research function preferred • Strong project management skills • Critical thinking and analysis skills • Proven success in creative problem solving • Ability to present and communicate information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences • Comfort using reference materials, databases, social media, online services, and internet searching tools • Advanced computer skills • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Excellent analytical, organizational, and customer service skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people • Healthcare, higher education, or not-for-profit industry knowledge is a plus
