📋 Description

• Communicate back and forth with WM drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route • Handle incoming service orders and direct drivers • Resolve service issues and troubleshoot delivery and pickup problems • Interact with WM customer service, sales, Route Managers, mechanics, sites, and service departments • Use WM proprietary software to manage same-day ticket routing • Prepare routes for the next day • Dispatch drivers to calls based on customer needs, driver locations and loads, and daily factors • Optimize routes based on customer needs • Determine daily driver staffing levels • Assign routes and service tickets to drivers and manage route completion • Handle incoming calls and emails regarding pickup or delivery requests • Communicate with customers while drivers are on site to resolve service delays • Ensure same-day service on missed pickups by managing routing and tracking driver movement • Travel up to 15% may be required to work face to face with responsible sites

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. • 6 months of relevant work experience • Experience working in a team setting • Ability to communicate effectively with several areas • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment • Excellent organizational skills • Strong computer competency • Communication skills • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace • Must live within the South Atlantic Market Area: Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina • Dispatch, routing, or logistics experience preferred • Must have or be willing to obtain a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required for business air travel or federal property access
