📋 Description

• Recruit new child care providers across North Carolina • Coach providers through licensing from initial conversation to opening, covering centers and family child care homes • Teach providers business operations, including enrollment, operations, compliance, and financial management • Translate North Carolina DCDEE licensing rules into actionable steps • Help providers remain compliant after opening • Build playbooks, training, and materials to scale provider support • Partner with state agencies and community organizations to expand child care supply • Coach providers toward licensed, full, and financially healthy businesses

🎯 Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel frequently across North Carolina • Ability to recruit, motivate, coach, and teach child care providers and prospective business owners • Knowledge of how businesses operate, including enrollment, operations, compliance, and financial management • Attention to detail • Knowledge of North Carolina child care licensing, ideally from inside or alongside DCDEE (strong advantage) • Experience recruiting, coaching, or consulting to small business owners or child care providers (big plus) • Familiarity with North Carolina’s quality rating and improvement work (big plus) • Ability to use AI tools and independently figure things out (big plus)
