📋 Description

• Act as a point of contact for escalated worker concerns, triaging severity, urgency and legal exposure • Support investigations into harassment, discrimination, retaliation and other serious concerns, documenting findings for manager review • Work with Trust & Safety to de-escalate and resolve cases, escalating matters needing counsel to Legal • Track incident patterns, identify trends and provide process recommendations • Review loss runs and claim trends and share recommendations to reduce frequency and cost • Work with workers' compensation partners and assign new workers' compensation codes • Assist with claims intake, carrier and adjuster coordination, tracking and follow-up • Document the claims workflow and suggest improvements • Issue certificates of insurance as needed • Learn customer program operations and flag co-employment risk to Legal and leadership • Assist in HR and compliance audits as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in employee relations, HR operations or compliance • Exposure to documenting or investigating harassment, discrimination or retaliation complaints, or a strong interest in learning how • Foundational knowledge of employment law • Judgment about when to ask Legal or your manager for help • Familiarity with workers' compensation, or a strong ability to learn it quickly • Clear writing, including procedures or playbooks • Strong collaboration skills • Self-starter who improves processes and thrives in a fast-paced setting • Commitment to the worker experience • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or workplace investigator training is a nice to have • Staffing, gig or other contingent-workforce experience is a nice to have • Familiarity with co-employment, insurance or risk management is a nice to have
