📋 Description

• Record and review accounting entries, verifying their proper classification and supporting documentation. • Perform bank reconciliations and account analyses, identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Participate in monthly and year-end accounting close processes. • Prepare accounting and financial reports. • Organize supporting documentation and follow up on outstanding information requests with clients. • Collaborate on preparing information for the tax team. • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a related field. • Experience in accounting roles, with the autonomy to perform reconciliations, account analyses, and close activities. • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and accounting management systems. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Good communication skills, analytical ability, and a strong commitment to information confidentiality. • Preferred: Experience at an accounting firm or managing a portfolio of clients. • Preferred: Experience working with U.S. companies. • Preferred: Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or other accounting tools commonly used in the U.S. market. • Preferred: Familiarity with bookkeeping processes and documentation for tax preparation and filing.
