📋 Description

• Own day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, variance explanations, and financial reporting • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data • Apply an audit mindset to internal controls, compliance, and financial processes • Research technical accounting matters and prepare well-supported memos for audit and financial reporting • Apply accounting knowledge to the technology and creator economy context • Improve and scale accounting systems and workflows • Support external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in audit • CPA license • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards • Ability to research, analyze, and write technical accounting positions and memos • Familiarity with modern accounting tools and a track record of process improvement • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders • Industry-relevant experience in technology, e-commerce, or a high-growth startup environment preferred • NetSuite ERP system experience is a bonus
